Details: RiverPark and Upstream Church are thrilled to host this year's two day sports camp for kids (ages 5-12) in Parkville and the surrounding areas.
Kids will get to participate in different sports workshops with experienced coaches in the beautiful Platte Landing Park (next to English Landing). You can drop off your kids or hang out at our "Parent Lounge" with drinks and snacks during the event.
There will be a 15-minute break where snacks will be provided, along with a relevant, age appropriate character-building story or lesson.
The cost of registration is $20 per child and includes all the drinks and snacks during the event.
FAQ's
1. What sports will the kids play? Over the course of the morning, kids will rotate between different sports. While things could change, the current sports planned are:
• Baseball
• Flag Football
• Volleyball/Badminton (depending on age of kids)
• Kickball
• Soccer
2. Can parents volunteer to help? Yes! Just register yourself as an adult volunteer and one of the RiverPark Staff will contact you with details.
3. Where will I check my child in on the day of camp? At the Friends Pavilion. There will be volunteers there to help you complete your waiver, get your camper assigned to their team, and take them to their team leaders.
4. I have a child under the age of 5. Will there be something they can do while their siblings are at camp? Yes! We will have a play area for parents & their children 4 years and younger that can play in. (Things like bubbles, balls, etc.) We will also have snacks and water bottles available (Parents or guardians must be present with their little one as there will be no volunteer supervision over this area.
